Gem and Jewellery Industry in India is growing at a rapid pace. In the last decade the jewellery exports have registered the growth of over 400% which is expected to double in the next few years.
There is a huge demand in the local market for new ideas and concepts. Infact there is shortage of supply for well trained designers as more and more jewellers are recruiting designers to satisfy their customers.
The designers have attractive pay-scales and also have the advantage to rise rapidly to senior positions in both management and marketing fields in large jewellery companies both in India and Overseas.

About Us
Jewelsprings was started in 2003 by Sonali Shah Sheth, a De Beers award winning designer, to provide ‘best in class’ jewellery design education in the city of Surat.
Over the years Jewelsprings’ students have worked for many well known jewellers and export firms or established successful jewellery businesses and thus created a great name for the institute.
In the coming years we plan to make it a centre of creative excellence for the jewellery industry of India by providing well trained manual and CAD designers and in turn, creating great employment and growth opportunities for designers in this field
SONALI SHAH SHETH
Sonali Shah Sheth is a name to reckon with in the Indian fine Jewellery space.
She has won numerous design awards both Indian and International including the most prestigious like the De Beers Award, Tahiti Pearl Gold Trophy and the Artisan Award.
She has also served as the Head of Design for Reliance Jewels part of Reliance Retail, one of the worlds largest retail organisations where she helped them win all the major industry design awards during her tenure.
She has worked with most of the leading
manufacturers of the country in silver, gold, diamond and platinum jewellery.
A Gemologist and CAD/CAM graduate from GIA - USA, a design n manufacturing graduate from JDM SNDT Mumbai, and a Luxury management graduate from the prestigious IIM Ahmedabad, Sonali has a rare combination of skills that span from design to manufacturing to marketing n strategy.
Her signature collections under her company Sphere have been featured in many national and international magazines and continue to be retailed through some of the topmost retail jewellers in the country.
She is also the founder of her signature label brand SOHNAA which aims to push the boundaries of design and craftsmanship at In International level.
